MIRRORS FOR PUBLIC TRANSIT BUSES

Lucerix has been suppling interior and exterior mirror systems to the North American O.E.M transit bus industry for 30+ years. The city bus market is truly the roots of our business. Our bus mirror systems comply with the American Public Transit Association's (APTA) white book directory as well as all standards required by FMVSS and CMVSS for North America.

Mirror systems for buses come in a full range of sizing and options. Standard mirror sizes range from 6" to 17". Key Features include power adjust, heat, and lighting.

The only bus mirror bracket in the industry that is designed to withstand the aggressive wash cycle. Boomerang swings a full 180 degrees and then automatically returns to the preset operating angle. Lucerix mirrors are made of automotive grade ABS plastic, high pressure die cast zinc/aluminum components, all glass safety taped and first surface chrome, brackets are finished in black powder coat, and stainless hardware.

Select single or dual lens, handset or power control, heated glass, lighting options, and size range from 6" (152 mm) up to 20" (508 mm).

Stow N Ride Mirrors

Stow N Ride is a patent quick release handlebar mirror system that installs directly into the bar end of the factory handlebar. This includes straight bars that are commonly used on ATVs, PWC, and older snowmobiles, as well as hooked bars commonly used on the newer snowmobiles/sleds of today. STOW AND RIDE FITS ALL FACTORY 7/8 " HANDLEBARS.

Riding off road?, worried about a tree strike?, simply unlock and stow the SNR mirror away in your cargo box to prevent damage.

Do a lot of trailering? Factory covers typically don't have the space required for mirrors. We have an answer for that...simply unlock, slide the mirror assembly out of the handlebar and stow away. OR another trick is to unlock and spin the mirror down to fit under the cover.

All season rider? Depending on your make/model, Stow N Ride can be swapped from your summer ride to your winter ride!!

Auto Return Bus Bracket

"Boomerang" is a bus mirror bracket that is designed to automatically return in the event of a strike. North American Transit Properties were looking for a cost effective way to minimize damage that was happening to mirror assemblies during wash operations. The over sized brushes commonly found in industrial wash racks of today can be aggressive and are prone to snagging and catching the exterior mirrors. The Lucerix Boomerang Bracket is designed to withstand the daily operation of the wash rack. Our patented spring module located at the base of the assembly allows the bracket arm to swing back in the event of a strike. During wash operations the automated brushes push the bracket back towards the rear of the bus, once the brush has passed the mirror and bracket the entire assembly automatically returns to the original operating position. No need for re-adjustment. Also, to prevent body strike the mount features a forward and rear stop. See Boomerang in Action.

Back lit mirrors feature a 4" x 4" weather proof L.E.D panel that is recessed into the back side of the mirror shell. The custom overlay is laser cut and installed directly in behind the clear lens. The blacked out image of the overlay can be customized according to the customer specification. Display a logo, a generic caution symbol , and even a picture silhouette. Improve safety by drawing attention to the mirror. Light activation can be customized and set to flash or remain on.
